Aceite Campo de Calatrava is an extra virgin olive oil produced exclusively from Cornicabra (at least 80 %) and Picual olives grown, processed, and bottled within a defined volcanic comarca in the Ciudad Real province of Castile-La Mancha. It is the only oil under a protected designation of origin made solely from these two varieties.

Registered as a PDO on 11 September 2007 under file number PDO-ES-0642 (eAmbrosia identifier EUGI00000013865), Aceite Campo de Calatrava is an extra virgin olive oil whose production, processing, and bottling must take place within sixteen named municipal districts in the central part of Ciudad Real province: Aldea del Rey, Almagro, Argamasilla de Calatrava, Ballesteros de Calatrava, Bolaños de Calatrava, Calzada de Calatrava, Cañada de Calatrava, Carrión de Calatrava, Granátula de Calatrava, Miguelturra, Moral de Calatrava, Pozuelo de Calatrava, Torralba de Calatrava, Valenzuela de Calatrava, Villanueva de San Carlos, and Villar del Pozo. The specification requires that at least 80 % of the oil derive from the Cornicabra variety, with Picual as the only other permitted variety. Olives must be harvested directly from the tree at a ripeness degree between 3 and 6. The specification sets a minimum oleic acid content of 70 %, maximum acidity of 0.5°, maximum peroxide value of 15 meq O₂/kg, maximum K232 of 2, maximum K270 of 0.15°, maximum water content of 0.1 parts per 100, and maximum impurities of 0.1 parts per 100. The median defect must equal 0 and the median fruitiness score must exceed 3. Bottling is confined to the geographical area. Containers carry numbered back labels issued and monitored by the Inspection Body to prevent reuse, and labelling must include the PDO logo and the words 'Aceite Campo de Calatrava'.
