Dulce de membrillo

Dulce de membrillo (Puente Genil) is a quince paste associated with the town of Puente Genil in the province of Córdoba, Spain, which holds a long-standing reputation as a centre of its production. It carries no EU protected designation and does not appear on any official quality register. The catalogue classifies it at premium level on the basis of that regional reputation alone.
