Patatas de Prades

Patatas de Prades / Patates de Prades is a PGI registered on 25 April 2002 (file PGI-ES-0232) covering fresh potatoes grown in the Prades mountains, Tarragona, Spain. The specification requires cultivation at approximately 1 000 metres above sea level on sandy siliceous soils with a slightly acidic pH, one harvest per year, and storage without anti-germinating agents. Each bag carries a numbered label issued by the Consejo Regulador de la IGP Patata de Prades.
