Melon de Guadeloupe is a fresh yellow Charentais melon produced in open, uncovered fields on the islands of Grande-Terre and Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe, France. Registered as a PGI on 18 January 2011 under file number PGI-FR-0844 (eAmbrosia: EUGI00000013790), the designation requires a minimum weight of 450 g and a refractive index of at least 12 °Brix. The harvest period runs from November to June.
