Tasting notes
Peloponnesian dried-currant POP from Corinthian (Korinth) cultivation, traditional black Corinthian grape sun-dried. Distinctive small dark seedless raisin (the original "currant" — etymologically derived from Corinth). Dark mahogany color, soft chewy texture, intensely sweet honey-grape-fig flavor — the Greek raisin-of-record, major export.
HoReCa use
Greek pastry (revani, baklava variants); in sweet-and-savoury preparations (with chicken and rice); in fruit cakes; in muesli.
