Production and packaging must both take place within the defined area. The inspection body is CSQA Certificazioni S.R.L., based in Thiene (VI). Each package must bear the words 'Cipollotto Nocerino' and 'Denominazione Origine Protetta' or the acronym 'D.O.P.', together with the designation's logo and the details of the grower and/or packer.
