Tasting notes

Campanian apple "Annurca" — small reddish bicolor fruit, distinctive low-tree variety, traditional sun-ripening on straw beds ("melai"). Crisp white flesh, intensely fragrant, sweet-acid balanced flavor with wine-like notes.

The specification provides for processed and derived products made exclusively from Melannurca Campana PGI fruit, provided the weight relationship between the protected fruit used and the derived product is stated on packaging.
