Tasting notes
Abruzzese saffron from Navelli plateau (L'Aquila province), traditional thread saffron from Crocus sativus. Deep ruby-red threads, intensely aromatic with characteristic floral-honey-hay notes, vivid yellow-orange color when infused; among the world's premier saffrons (Iran-Spain-Italy triumvirate).
HoReCa use
Risotto alla Milanese (canonical), seafood paella-style preparations, broths and stocks, golden infusions for desserts (saffron gelato, panna cotta), Abruzzese pasta dishes.
