The applicant group at the time of registration was ACOMOR - Agrupamento de Produtores de Montemor-o-Novo, S.A., based in Montemor-o-Novo. The inspection structure named in the specification is APORMOR - Associação de Produtores de Bovinos, Ovinos e Caprinos da Região de Montemor-o-Novo, at the same address. Labelling must carry the designation Borrego de Montemor-o-Novo together with the words Geographical Indication.
